Meet Justine
Growing up in Seattle, art was a very central part of my life. Surrounded by visual and performing arts, I was encouraged to draw, sing, act, write, and paint to my heart’s content. I always dreamed of being an artist in some (or many) forms, and am so grateful for the gift of creativity and the current role it plays in my life. I now live on the coast of Southern California with my husband, where I paint from my sunny studio.
Painting is my personal form of meditation, and how I reflect on the beauty I find in my everyday life and travels. I hope to create work for your home that brings you joy, and takes you to a place you love.
My art practice is dedicated to my late grandma, Patty Neil. She was my best friend and the loveliest and most creative person I have ever known, and instilled her great love for the arts within me since I was a young girl. She was incredibly encouraging of my pursuit of becoming an artist, and would tell me to always keep painting, never wavering in her belief in me. I am so grateful for that wonderful gift, and hope to honor her in all I do and create.
